ARGUS PNVG-18 (APNVG) Panoramic Night Vision Goggle
ARGUS PNVG-18 (APNVG) Panoramic Night Vision Goggle
To meet the high expectations of our customers, ARGUS has developed a reliable and high performance panoramic night vision device after iterations of designs, tests and improvements. The ARGUS Panoramic Night Vision Goggle (APNVG) increases user's field of view (FOV) from 40 degrees that a common monocular or binocular system can provide all the way up to 100 degrees. The APNVG uses four image intensifier tubes to expand FOV without decreasing system resolution or compromising collimation.
The two forward facing apertures in the middle are parallel to provide depth perception, stereoscopic vision and strengthened resolution. The other two apertures on the far left and right sides provide sideward views. As a result, the user will get a wider view of three circular images seamlessly merged together.
All APNVGs assembled by ARGUS are calibrated on certified Hoffman Engineering ANV-126A device. Well trained ARGUS technicians will adjust all apertures to their optimal status on a custom-made panoramic collimation adapter. All assembly and test procedures are taken place in ARGUS’ dust-free plant. They will be vacuum tested and nitrogen purged to ensure waterproofness, before sending over to QC and packaging departments.
All devices built by ARGUS are installed with hand-picked tubes to ensure the evenness and seamless merge of images. The APNVG is powered by external battery pack through Fischer port. An ARGUS Universal Strobe Battery Pack (USBP) is included in each APNVG combo set.
